B&W Edinburgh - Olympus Trip

Rob, wonderful tones, and I am looking for a rental in the buildings beautifully framed in the first photograph. :)

Not for rent, just purchase - and at a premium price, I'm afraid. We dream of living there. I have one student who does...

The tones are indeed nice. I keep forgetting this is a sub £10 camera. Unbelievable. Anybody want to by a Fuji X-E1? :o

Seems you and the Trip are getting on well Rob perhaps you should send that X thingy down to me you clearly don't need it any more :D:D:D

Actually Rob I've boxed most of my oldies up, as not using them much, will probably clear the shelves soon as the dust is getting thick. glad you are having fun with it, film really is best you know cheers for the banter ;)

I used to be a mean spin bowler at school, but was at least ten years ago, maybe a lot more...

It was a very hot day indeed. The film was melting...

Damn fine set - worth more that a tenner I'd say!

Love open top especially.

Doing the B&W from color film gives you more flexibility any way - good plan :)

That's right, Chris. I'm getting better b&w by using colour film and Nik Silver, than straight b&w film, with or without Nik. More tones to play with.

That open top makes me think of California...right here in Edinburgh. :)
