Looks like you had some fun Chris. I was in all day yesterday due to the terrible weather. The flower looks like the bullet shaped tower that Norman Foster designed in London. Not as big though but it would be fun if it was!

I'm with Hamish about the last shot Chris. And I also really like the second but find the focus on the wood distracting. Dare I suggest an equal sided rectangular crop?!!

I think the last ones are a purple thingamy aren't they?! Or Echium fastuosum (Pride of Madeira) as the less well informed sometimes call it. The other is a wiggly red job - or some sort of red, contorted Willow (Salix sp).
