A small local festival happens each week across Cornwall, if not in all small villages but most of them. Some are more famed, such a 'Helston's Floral Dance' and Padstow's 'Obby oss' This week it has been Mevagissey Feast week. These guys turned up to play on the Harbour front.

I guess they must have been not paying attention on the 8th May '45!

Very nice series Julian. I really like the way you have isolated the individuals. In many ways though I prefer the colour image. The treatment you have used has a nice period feel to it whereas the monochrome images are more timeless if you see what I mean. Nice though.

I liked the color one best, too, Julian, although overall its a very nice set.

Why were they in period US Army uniforms? Is that just their persona?

Thanks Pete and Brian. I also prefer the colour. No idea about the Army uniforms, maybe a fetish? The tunes were pretty awful as well.
