Bash at the Architectural photography lark

I have an idea to do some of this architectural photography with my wide voigtlander lens ...
In the mean while, I've had a go with the x100
I guess this would probably come in to the category of abstract?

Yes, the glass reflection is something special - Also like the line of the pillar leading you in

I figure if you have at least 1 vertical line, the composition will sit better...?
Cheers, it's quite difficult processing on the laptop, so I'm pleased it's come out as well as it has, the colour took me quite a time to get how I wanted it!

Interesting shot, Hamish. I like the mood it conveys, and I think you captured the building's personality nicely. I would still file this in the category of architectural photography, because you've included enough of the building so that it's not a pure abstract (where you couldn't even it's a building, for example). It's OK not to correct perspective sometimes, as long as you do so in such an exaggerated way that you can tell that you meant to do it that way. That's definitely the case here. Nicely done!
