Huntington Beach, just to the north of the pier, last Saturday afternoon.

Olympus XA and Ilford HP5 processed in Rodinal.

Simply adore the aesthetics of the medium you use with your own slant on it Brian. So with that as a starting point once again I find myself getting pleasure once again from viewing one of your photographs. Cannot say more really.
Thanks.

That is very kind of you, Julian. Thank you! :)

Love the grain on this one Brian. Did you do anything in particular to get the grain like that?
Thanks Paul.

I developed two different rolls in the same can so I decided on a "stand" development of one hour. I agitated just once, at the very beginning. But I agitated for a longer time than usual,...about 60 seconds. (Normally I go only 30.) Perhaps the longer agitation enhanced the grain in the faster of the two films (this one being HP5 and the other Delta 100).

Thanks again, Paul!
