Cracking set again and that gnarled bit of tree is just lovely. I really like that slipway / pier too and the light in the shot of the upturned boat is just fabulous.

It was a really elemental day - strong winds, fast-moving waves and clouds. Would we had more days like that, but the norm is grey, still, and dull.

I bought a nice pair of binoculars for star hopping, and ever since the clouds have barred any access to the remainder of the universe. It has been explained to me that it is all my fault, there being a Universal Law that anyone who buys an item of astronomical equipment automatically triggers a month of impenetrable cloud.
