Trees in the Dalmeny Estate

A lovely walk in beautiful late autumn sunshine, though I'd prefer to have had a few floating clouds...Dalmeny Estate is just up the road.

What a delightful set, Rob. I saw the first one on Instagram but I'm happy to see the others here. The dappled light on the tree trunks in number 3 is particularly nice, as is the backlit hillside of 4 and the splash of sunlight into the old mince pies in 5. What are those white animals in 7? (They look a lot like sheep except that they have no legs.) :)

Ha, they're the famous nae-leggit sheep fae Dalmeny! A rare breed indeed. The other sheep disparage them, calling them "crawlers!"

Glad you like the others. It was a bonnie walk, for sure.

I have to concur with Brian, a nice collection and in particular the symmetry of the first image. That filter really augments the tone of these images in quite different degrees.
