When I approached, I looked for a notice saying so-and-so lived here, famous children's author, or some such. But nothing. Just a house. Intriguing, indeed. What's beyond the door?

and what's wrong with the rest of the picture?
Is that an umbrella on her arm; maybe it pops up when you press the bell button which forms a nice part of the composition. You took up a good viewing point for this.
