Good question. I'm beginning to suspect that a life of fame, wild parties, drugs and booze have had their effect and that he may have resorted to holding innocent teddy bears, gnomes and other toys to ransom to pay for his wayward lifestyle. A sad end but after Jiminy Cricket fell foul of some crack cocaine cut with fly killer there was no-one around to keep him on the straight and narrow. A sad but all too common tale of the animated stars of yesteryear!
