+ the grass isn't always greener on the other side of the river.... Sunday AM and Monday PM with the X100.

Both from the Buffalo Bayou hiking trail in Houston. I just moved here. Houston is feverishly installing hike and bike trails. The Buffalo Bayou trail is a 5 minute walk from my house. This part of Houston is formerly all industrial but is now becoming the "hipster" place to live because of it's proximity to downtown. It's a weird mix of residential and heavy industry. Definitely should provide some grist for the photographic mill.....

I just got here last week and am still unboxing. Hopefully in a week or so I can start doing photography again.

Steve, the first photo is AMAZING! You nailed that couch and I absolutely love the cement cylinders in the background..I mean wow, I'm completely serious, you angled the couch perfectly. Awesome awesome composition. The trash pile on the other side of the river and the rivers reflection, along with the green bushes, is a great remark on our current environmental affairs. Wonderful photos Steve, seriously rock'in job.
