black and white sea scape...

I am normally a person that doesn't do black and white from my digital camera's as I normally prefer film for all of my black and white images ( that doesn't mean that film is a better way of doing it, just my preference )

But on this occasion I took this image with my digital camera, with it in mind to convert to B & W..and I wasnt dissapointed.

B&W seascapes to me seem primordial for that reason this works for me a whole lotta.
The calm (long exp) sea with the movement in the clouds too.

Thanks everyone for your replies, I got absolutely soaked taking the image as the tide was coming in fast...but it was worth it, and I am known for taking the odd risk with water and camera's just to get the picture I want.

Nice one Stephen, it looks a lot like Watergate Bay where I go sometimes , Very similar small groups of rocks surrounded by a small pool of water.
