Here are the first few of many.........
(getting my apologies in early haha)

Darren great shots, but i have so many 'not so' happy memories of Blackie together with a couple of special ones, The Tram is my fave, can it have a square crop (only because I'm into square at the mo) {must have caught something of some one on here}
Seriously though it would make it I think.

cheers guys, was a real windy night and had some issues with tripod even though its a heavy sod was wobbling just to much for long exposures. I went up tower after dark.......but guess what, no tripods allowed.........!!

And guess what folks. I'm probably the only one on here that HASN'T been to blackpool! Lol
Great set there Darren, very well excicuted. :)

Ooh , must of posted that whilst I was typing my last......
Well, I must say.... It does suit a square crop :)

Cheers Daz.........:) Dan I'm easily tempted............a fallen man :D and you've never been to the den of iniquity..............you need to invent a stag night to go to.....I'm sure Hamish would play along ;)

It a rather starnge place, been many times as a kid, & many times out on the razz on weekender benders as i lived in manchester most my life. Now i am in wales i still go often, its cheap trashy, full of slappers, tramps, cheap tatty shops, cheap beer, crappy guest houses and grotty down the back streets.........!!

Saying that they are spending a fortune on regenerations and it is looking much better than it has done for years.

But it is what it is, and it attracts 100000s each year & i still like to have a visit once or twice a year......lol

Great lines Daz, i went there with my Ex, hence some BAD memories but also whilst stopping at a pub in those dark and dingy back streets for lunch someone got stabbed, shortly after saw a guy fall under one of those trams and then there was.........nah no more memories............
Now I like the juxta of this last image, I notice the BIG tram is going to 'Little Bisham' and the Little Tram is going to 'Bisham' what are the chances..........every picture tells a story........great shot :)

F**K!! SIGN ME UP NOW!!

Seriously Darren, the first two are great and the square crop works well too. These nocturns of yours are really becoming something great. Not strictly the same style as yours but you may find the paintings of James Abbot McNeill Whistler a source of some ideas. His most famous painting is a portrait of his mother but he also painted nocturns.

Thought I would also mention that if you have Photoshop or similar you can use the Warp or Free Transform Tool (hold down the Ctrl key while selecting a corner) to correct the barrel distortion of the lens at the edges of the frame.

not sure what you mean Paul................lol

The Awesome Pepsi Max Rollercoaster

That first shot of the Casino almost looks like Miami! :)

Very nice - although the square croppage plague is worrying ;)

Roller-coaster is great - I have one locally that I've been trying to get to shoot - must put it on the list now you've inspired me!

Darren,
Love that first b&w of the street car! Just a wonderful exposure and composition.

BTW I've never been to Blackpool either. Course I've not been to England.
