Bluebell Woods

I'm digging through some older images because I need to give my mouse hand a rest. To my horror I found I couldn't even click the other evening - a combination of advancing years and overuse, especially doing the animals outside in the winter. For those of a nervous disposition, look away now - I partially severed a finger a couple of years ago and insisted on watching the entire operation to put everything back together. Surgeons get very twitchy when you do that

A very average photograph taken on our neighbour's land. The only good points are the bluebells, the green tracks and the detail on the tree trunks. Turned into something far more interesting with the Fractalius filter. I've only used it about ten times, which is just as well because I now have to re-install it every time I use it...

It's such an odd effect but somehow I quite like it ...
I think of I could draw that is probably how I would choose to draw if that mmakes sense? Its got an acid trip look to it I think!
Im guessing this is the same effect as applied to your chicken?

Same software, different effect. If you think this is like an acid trip, you want to see the image zoomed in. There's nothing left of the pixels, but the fractals seem to go on forever. I believe it's all down to mathematics

As Hamish says, weird but works. Gives a very 'Middle Earth' look to the woods. I can image that path taking on a truly fractal nature and having no end!
