Broken Zip On Lowepro Slingshot AW200 - Brief Lowpro service review

had the bag around 3 years but the zip on the top compartment broke so i haven't been using it for last 6 months or so it been sat in cupboards and used as storage.

I recently read there is a limited lifetime guarantee on there bags, reading the terms on there site is mind boggling.

So i sent them an email, They asked few questions and wanted proof of purchase, i couldn't provided it but told them it cam from calumet in Liverpool (that has now closed)

they asked for me to return it to them for inspection which i did about 4 weeks ago, i heard nothing since.

A courier arrived this morning with a brand new slingshot for me. Also it is the newer version Slingshot AW202 which has some pretty good upgrades to it like extra pockets & tripod attachment. RRP on amazon is £47

I have a LowePro AW bag that I carry my 5D MKII and a couple of lenses in. After I had it two years the strap connector broke. LowePro replaced the strap for me. I think that's why it's best to buy quality products from companies that stand behind their work.

Now that's some good customer service - and just look at the good PR they'll get out of it, as well as a happy customer.
