You can by going into the router Hamish but really the best way to deal with the problem is yo switch off finding it in network and sharing on the computer if its found it will ask if you want to connect automaticly dont click that and if you do turn it off when you find out

That must be 'snappy' compared to the old slow ADSL

The area local to me is gradually getting fibre to home ( that is fibre all the way to the router) and is now the fastest in the whole of the UK apparently.

100 mbps in Beverley in East Yorkshire

I have put my name on the list but no plans for our village yet as we already have 'decent' speeds over copper.

look at the speed test results in this thread on a local forum , 262 Mb/s !!

Lightspeed installed - pleased so far

I want that speed and low ping ! ( I might have to wait a while until fibre reaches our street...)

Ahh but is the up governed by what the other end can take still no sign of infinity ever getting to stoke though all around has been done leek cheadle alsager but not here!
