Ocenaside's actually got a lovely historical district, some great features like the pier, and is undergoing a bit of a facelift with a new resort hotel and lots of new downtown lofts.

Nice series and I like the tones you have used - out of camera? Especially in the first but I find the angle a bit too strong - or maybe I just expect it to be left to right. Not sure. Either way, a nice series.

I like #1 best. The seagull makes it for me but the saturated colors are really appealing, too.

Pete - Radical indeed - as in 'dude, that wave was rad and totally gnarly' - no idea what they sell as the store hasn't opened yet!

My favorite in this set is the seaside cottage.

The cottage really caught my eye because of the excellent landscaping - it really set it off nicely, so I tried to anchor the shot with that.
