Critique Welcomed Cadillac at Night

Good one! Cover of an LA-based detective novel?
Thanks Rob. It's a scene from a Raymond Chandler-esque film noir in which the shadow is that of the murderer who has stashed the body of his victim in the boot and is about to flee the scene but has paused to wipe away his fingerprints. (Actually it's just me one night on a walk with Sadie but I'm anticipating @Pete Askew will come in with some wild interpretation and I wanted to save him some brain calories.)

I refuse to be drawn into such wild speculation, especially as it is clearly a scene from David Lynch's version of Land of Giants and is nothing to do with a murder mystery!

Great colours and I love the way you have positioned the vertical shadow (and well as the more lumpy one beside it).

And here I was trying to do you a favor!
