Hello to all you camera buffs.
I have recently acquired a Mamiya RB67 to my collection.
Now have three digital cameras, 1 TLR , The RB67, amd my old Olympus OM21.
My wife thinks there is something wrong with me.
I keep buying cameras and secondhand photography books.
Am I insane or is it just a dream?

Haha ... My current fancy is old lenses that I can mount to my sony nex that give unconventionally attractive results ...
i like it because it means I can spend hours trawling the Internet trying to find previously unknown to me gems ...
today, via email, I introduced my self to a nice chap calle Henry from Germany. He makes a thing called a Vnex - effectivly a helicoids for mounting enlarger lenses to nex cameras... With some tinkering and a veriety of other parts he can supply me I can also butcher some of my more broken 1950's compact cameras for thier lenses to mount ...

My missis used to think I was mad ... She just ignores it now

I am not wasting countless hours in front of the telly as a mind-numbing opiate. I am not running around with women. I'm with you there Brian, I'm only 20, but I don't drink, do drugs, I don't have a car to burn petrol up, I don't actually do a great lot for myself - but that's not out of laziness, I'm a carer really.
The girlfriend isn't concerned with what I buy, she doesn't understand photography anyway... So i might aswell enjoy myself buying the odd thing here and there and using any spare time I have for photography. ( the lack of spare time also means that more often than not the photography is done in the house, or in the garden. Hence lego lol)
