The photo is great, indeed. It has a Mediterranian/Italian/Latino vibe to me, and it reminds me of some photographer, don’t know who, maybe more than one. Why Camus, Rob?
 
@Gianluca, I just felt the character looked like Camus. I imagine him with a Gauloise cigarette hanging from his lip. So your Mediterranean vibe is not far off the mark.

As for the Madonna, she does appear to be lamenting something, crying even.

The third element is the word Entrance. It was a short step to having Camus entranced by her.

It was an unusual photo for me to take, and I recall just seeing it and shooting immediately. When I opened it in Lightroom, it just seemed to have a narrative worth contemplating. Glad you like it. Do I win “Title of the Week”? :)

I neglected to mention it took place in the Modern Art Gallery, Edinburgh.
