Ah yes the tracks ... It's a sea loch so it's tidal and when the tide is out the tracks run right up to the castle, it is also possible to walk across .... until that is you get stranded

I often see causeways made from stone or these days concrete. First submerged steel rail one I've seen. Interesting read on the History on-line also. Thanks Davie.
