The self seed and are quite common I believe especially in pots placed in sunny, ideally south facing, positions!!

Nice shot Dave. When I had a cat (or rather when one moved in to allow me to feed and spoil it) it would sleep in the most ridiculous and seemingly uncomfortable places imaginable!

That's uncanny, we've got a cat that looks very similar to yours & he to likes to curl up & sleep in the top of plantpots!
