Chrysler Reflection (Windows Theme)

Chrysler Building NY - reflected in the windows of the building across the street.

Shot on Canon 1D2 - cross processed in PS

This skyscraper is iconic, but rather over photographed, so I wanted to get a unique angle on it - I spotted the reflection as I crossed the road for a Starbucks!

It was a bit of a combo effect - otherwise known as me pi$$ing about with stuff until I got something I liked ;)

Nice, it's great to get the reflections in some of these modern buildings. I feel the odd one out here though I'm not overly keen on the PP. I find myself looking at the PP to much trying to figure out just what had been done.

Your possibly right Vic ... My instant intrigue was indeed about the pp rather than actually looking at the photo ...
I think for people in our position that is probably natural
I wonder how someone with no idea about photography and digital pp would view an image like this??

The pi$$ing about technique is my favorite, as well. When people ask me what my pre-sets are in PS or LR, I just stare blankly and mumble "presets?" :-D

(we have a lot of "bad words" that are considered offensive to our prudish American ears, but "pi$$ing" isn't one of them :-)

I don't think pi55ing is offensive either
I'm fairly certain I heard mr burns say wan.ker on the Simpsons once ... Is that not a aware word in America?

I don't think it's very common - definitely a British phrase Hamish

I love this picture, Chris! You certainly got a unique angle on it. Also, it occurs to me that spotting this reflection as a photographic opportunity is the mark of a photographer. You have an artistic eye.

(Just realized I had already posted a comment on the photo. Still,...it's worth another posting!)
