i might be thinking about this completely wrong, but i haven't finished my second roll of film yet so i can still claim ignorance.
i've ordered 3 rolls of cinestill, which is iso 800, to use in the trip 35. i read online (cause the internet is such a treasure trove of truthful information) that cinestill looks good overexposed by 1 stop, which also cuts down on the grain. and the highlights retain detail even when overexposed by several stops.
so i'm planning on setting the trip 35 to iso 400 and leave it in auto. or is that just not going to work? my second option is to use a light meter app on my phone. i plan on shooting buildings downtown at night or twilight if that makes a difference.
