Thank you very much indeed, Pete.

Today, I launched my minimalist photo+travel blog leaving the narrative to the viewer. Naturally, every image has a story that can be written. Yet, I remember the saying "A picture is worth a thousand words". Hope that works. :)

Again, Wow! Think he spotted you? ;) You definitely appear to have mastered exposure, Nihat, both in the taking and the processing. Beautiful.

Just one correction: "A picture is worth a thousand pounds! (or dollars, etc)"

I think it - the photo+travel blog - is a good idea, IF the quality of the image is high. No problem here.

For those interested, here is the first page of Nihat's new blog, where he details his equipment - very interesting: http://framebyframetravel.blogspot.co.uk

Thank you very much indeed, my friend. :) It was a project I did at the family citrus orchard in Turkey. People new I was photographing them. No candids.

I am excited about my new blog. It is designed with the idea of "A picture is worth a thousand words" leaving the narrative to the viewer. Naturally, every photograph has a personal story. However, my personal stories sometimes are not relevant to the viewers. But the images are universal, and they have their own language, like music does.

Thank you very much indeed, Paul. Well, I feel young some days, and younger other days.
My father gave me his Kodak Retina when I was 15.

It's as if he's looking right at me Nihat. Not just you or your camera, but through that right to me - brilliant eye contact.
