City lights

This city is a historical one; it's been the capital of the province for well over 400 yrs. Around 1860's a lot of modernization was undertaken, among which gas lamps appeared on the streets, the main ones at first. Gas light was here to stay and people were glad, for prior to these the nights were dark "and full of terror". The original ones are not existing anymore, for the city is now illuminated by LED posts with solar power panels.

But the administration ordered similar ones, new., just to revive the spirit of old and people to remember. The city has its lights again.
