Broke out my 80s Russian Lubitel twin lens reflex camera today, after years of being 'lost' in storage in the UK.
It's a very basic 6x6 camera, uses 120 film, and today I put a roll or Ilford Pan F 50 ASA through it, with a Yellow 2 filter in play.
Focus is via a somewhat basic viewfinder with ground glass center circle - there is a small pop out magnifier to assist in accurate focus - and the focus lens is gear-linked to the main lens to ensure accurate focus.
Totally manual exposure - so I used a light-meter App on my iPhone to read the exposure, which I then set on camera before cocking the 'clockwork' shutter, and using a shutter release cable to take the shot.
Film wind on is also manual - and you simply wind-on until the next frame number shows in the film-safe rear window.
No idea if I managed to get anything usable - but I shot a full roll (12 frames) and will get it developed and scanned early in the week.
