So this is the second in this spot, again looking for feedback.

This Triptych shows a RAW file converted to B&W then Colourised as a sample piece. Does it meet muster that is the question?

Thanks :)

It would certainly be easy to mistake it for a colour original I think but that is not the objective is it? It's probably not a target file but I think it should look more hand coloured if, for example, you want to hand colour old portraits to make them look right for the period. Or am I missing the intention?

No Pete, not missing the point at all, but for this I just wanted to go for a sort of, get the toning correct feel, as a sample product, I know I can give a period look but want to show what can be done, if that makes sense. I think that some photos would be suited to a more 'real' feel and others to a 'period' take, Does that make sense??

Perhaps I would have been better just posting this

US 82nd Airborne B - C.jpg

then there would have been no comparison image.......

Impressive stuff Kev, definitely a good effort on the colouring
Do you have a graphics tablet or are you doing it with a mouse?
Do you know what would be good... If you are up for it of course??
