I don't think I'm exaggerating, but I think in this photo as a child he was studying the details of the wooden structure, the textures, the light hitting the objects at different angles. His photos from that period are often collections of close-up details of everyday objects. It is therefore not surprising that he now works as a 3D environmental modeller.
