I've forgotten which lens this was... probably the 70-300mm Sigma, but possibly the 50mm f1.7 SMC-M. Pentz Z20, HP5+ at 200

The composition seems a bit strange in hindsight, yet I still sort of like it. What do you think? Doesn't really 'work' in a way.

Love it! It's as if you said, "Now, everyone look at the camera!". Yes, the composition is a bit strange, but works because of that, given the subjects and their expressions.

I am not sure that the black and white here does justice to the photo. But after all if it's film you had no choice and it's also true though that with such strong light even colour is not easy to handle.

Thanks Gianluca! You make a good point there. I did have my phone as well, I must confess, so could have taken a similar shot in colour. But I didn't, in the spirit of making the most of what was 'on the go'.
