Contax RX w/ Ilford HP5+ in one day.

Continuing my theme of shooting a roll in one day, here is the roll from last week I developed and scanned tonight.

Camera was the amazingly under-rated Contax RX, and I used two lenses - my Contax-Zeiss 50mmF1.4 and a new to me Contax-Zeiss 200mmF4. Ilford HP5+ film developed with Cinestill Monobath. "Scanned" with my Lumix G9 and Olympus 30mm Macro.

Henry the plant in the garden window, probably wishing he was out in the rain that was currently falling.

Work table with my Lumix G9 & Pana-Leica 100-400, Nikon D800, Nikon 80-400, Olympus 40-150F4 Pro, and the newly acquired Contax-Zeiss 200mmF4. Canon Pro300 with it's fitted cover.

I fired up the laser cutter and made this little shadowbox for empty film rolls. This roll filled in the last space.

Took my sidekick (friend's 9 year old) to lunch as it was her last day of school. She realized next school year is the dreaded 5th grade (the teacher is apparently "strict." Lol.

You seem to have had good luck with the Df96 monobath. It worked well for me on HP5+ and Tri-X but it may have been part of my ptoblem with my 4 x 5 Fomapan 100. I'll be mixing up a gallon of D-76 today so I can verify if the developer was an issue with the Fomapan. Great shots Paul!

I will confirm your issues with Fomopan. You can't use the Cinestill DF96 with it. I did a fair amount of testing to confirm this - as it used to work with that film stock. Something changed with the Fomopan - and it broke the compatibility - which sucks cause out of all the developers I have used with Fomopan, I liked the way it looked with CS DF96 best. Lol. I figured next year I will try it again, as who knows - maybe it will work again lol.

I think my favorite film stock (look wise) with the DF96 is Lomo Potsdam (Orwo 54) but all of that stock being sold is expired as of 2019 so it can do weird things (at least in 120, I haven't tried it with 35mm yet.)

I have a roll of Fomopan 400 loaded in my Voigtlander VSL1 TM currently - and I am trying to decide if I use Rodinal, or try the Kodak Tmax developer I have laying around with it. I also have some Kodak Xtol....... Hrmmm.
