Arrived at the beach yesterday and managed half a dozen shots before the black skies opened up. I was on the edge of the storm, but had to retire as I was getting very wet and did not wish to give the camera's a soak.
The guy in the chair, on holiday, was kitted out.

One shot on arrival.

That is some foreboding atmosphere in the first one especially Julian.
They definitely dressed for the camera.
Thanks Tom, I was foreboded. I did when the skies opened leave. Not minding the rain as it is simply so hot here and the humidity is difficult, this one I new though was full of thunder and heading our way and as well I only got caught in it a short while. It lasted the evening , but was was slightly cooling. Back to heat and humidity again today.

Great compositions both Julian. I especially like the first though. As Tom says, there is a fine sense of foreboding in it.

Thanks Pete. The black clouds at sea from the left side gave a great light. far better than I achieved here. I would have loved to have stayed out in it for longer but only had the Merrill's and did not think they would take much water. Had just cleaned the car out forgetting to put the umbrella back. It is summer after all :D

I love them both. The colours, the light, the composition of the images. Great texture in them too. I do not like though, the envy it makes me feel. I start to regret not buying a Merrill, but anyhow, it's all due to the photographer. Very well done and rain doesn't matter ;) when you come home with this. Cheers mate.
