Love the lighting being at the top of the wall, and the way it spills out from there

Looks amazingly clean Pete - are they all as well kept?

That's an epic shot Pete, I frickin love it!!

Your right about the cleanliness, Germany is very clean, graffiti is also big too.
Will not last very long that passageway Pete. Nice to see it before hand.
Maybe an after shot sometime in a few months Pete?

Great shot, Pete. I like the light on the ceiling, the way it goes from white at the corners to greenish toward the center, Perhaps that's what Chris was referring to.

Wow that's beautiful. How old is this Pete? I feel like I'm looking at the Villa Tugendhat. Is it from that period?

I'm not really qualified to comment on the aesthetics but I like the way you have framed it. Most people (read me) would have framed it centrally. It's much more dynamic which contrasts wonderfully with the geometric patterns on the wall.

I'm kind of two minds about graffiti. I definitely think it would be horrible in this place. That's some really great architecture as only the Germans can do. (I'm not much on Post Modernism or are we now in Post-Post Modernism period..... I do think Brutalism is really great though).

Pete, this camera of your with your eye's seeing making me like colour more then ever.
Yellows were smashing, but now this is my favourite green. Like the ending colour too. :)

Thanks both. It's earlier than the Villa Steve and was built in 1902. It lay dormant after the war and during the cold war period as it was under no-man's land between East and West Berlin and was restored in the early 90s.

You are right. Now that I look it more it's more Art Nouveau-ish. Beautiful either way and a really fascinating photo. It's has a mystery about it that I really like. Not horror film mystery just Noir mystery. Sorry for the detour into architecture but it fascinates me. Everything where I live is built to last maybe 15 years.
