Two of my my fave subjects to point a lens at. A couple of months ago I was fortunate enough to see these beautiful clouds as they headed over the Fell, with trees from the plantation reaching up to touch the sky.
Canon 6D, adapted Yashica DSB 50mm f1.9 with orange filter.

I too especially like the first one...but a great set. There's a bit of a sense of coming closer as one looks through from 1-3, although it's also a young/old progression too. Maybe I'm imagining too hard!
I admit I hadn’t thought about the sense of progression, but I like it. Had I taken all three images in the same orientation I could have made a triptych from them, telling the story (I probably still could with cropping and accepting lower resolution for each) 🙂
