As you well know Hamish, I like this sort if stuff. I'd probably have gone a touch darker with a bit more contrast. Any chance of getting the stems back on the top flower.
I've had a new desk made for the study in England and have just sorted everything into it. In the process I found several boxes of B&W prints amongst which was a shot of Cow Parsley blowing in the wind. I will scan the one I have and find the negative as it is worth re-printing I think. For me it is very English seeing the Cow Parsley at the side of the road and the margins of fields. I love the way it glows out against the fresh new greens.
