Cup Cakes and Football

The grand-kids came by this afternoon to watch the football (my idea), and make cup cakes (Nama's idea).

Great shots. And lovely kids, Chris. (I assume they take after granny's side? :D)

I like the one with the cupcake crumbs on the chin, especially.
 
They do indeed Brian - luckily for them! :D

That cup-cake on the chin moment was a bit special - I sat on an ottoman behind Alyssa, so I was at her height, and got the camera ready. Then I asked her how the cake was, so she'd turn around.

Snapped the shot before she could pull the 'cheese' face!

What a wonderful series Chris. So much to like in these from the great Dof in No 1, through the cupcake shot to the movement on the ball thingy. And the traffic incident (especially the garish colour treatment - spot-on) is just super. Brilliantly observed and shot.
 
Thanks everyone :)

Hamish - I thought I'd change up my B&W a bit and use a cool tone, rather than the warm tone I've been using recently - I think that's where the grey look is coming from.

Might have another play later - my initial warm tone attempts made the skin tone and hair look a bit blotchy :(
