Downtown LA today - Fuji X-100

nice for the most part, but it looks like you put your finger over the lens on the bottom right. see the big black area?

love the stark whiteness and uniformity of the building, definitely looks like a bank's corporate building to me. nice pov.

Such a rookie mistake! Doh!! :D

Great comp., and an incredibly clean image. The light is definitely different there compared to here. Good shot, Chris. Can we have one with Mikah waving out of a window?

Thanks - I think you're seeing light diffusion by smog Rob - the air was nasty yesterday in LA :(

The light is definitely different at this latitude though, both look and color temp (which I know is a strange thing to say for a B&W image)

Cracking composition Chris , love this , nice touch with the roses.
Thanks Julian - pop of not color from the roses! :D

A real high impact shot this is. Very clean and precise. The darker triangle of the balcony below lifts it from the ordinary and also provides some scale.
Thanks Tom

Fabulous composition Chris. Great idea to have several areas of continuous tone too.
Thanks Pete - and I didn't get stopped this time!

Last time at this location I was accosted by building security, and was told I could't shoot on their property - so I was quick and ninja-like this time with the X-100 :D
