Damaged Organ

top one for me, i started looking at the bottom and worked my way up

Many thanks guys.

I shall be revisiting this place soon.

I just dropped by and snapped up a few with the Fuj with limited time.
Handheld at around 1/4 of a second.

The first one is better IMO, the distortion in the verticals doesn't make sense once the image is cropped, if you want to crop it, correcting the verticals would make it work I think

first one for me - lovely tones

First one, by far for me. It does a better of job of conveying the space. The second one seems too truncated - I'm left wondering where this is. I would try to open up the shadow tones a bit so it doesn't look so crushed. Not suggesting a change in overall contrast, just a bit more shadow detail. Cool photo, though. I like the mottled tones on the walls and floor.

The second image doesn't really work for me. I also don't think the conversion is as interesting.

If that Leslie cabinet still has the guts in it, it is worth some money even if it doesn't work.

Thanks for the advice Keith,
Definitely take that on board.

Well pointed out about the cabinet, they are well crafted pieces and amazing to watch an open one in action.... As the place has been vandalised by a bunch or more of yobs, they've been solely focused on destroying the organ (as it is easily identifiable to these idiots) that they did not have the intelligence to focus destruction on the organs fundamental partner beside it, Donald Lesley's invention.

The most common slogan in this urbex game is 'take nothing, leave only footprints'. I certainly won't be doing anything with this....... But it'll only be a matter if time before some yobbo does, and it won't be pretty..... Shame
