The light--looks like the light of a fire--is wonderful.

Can’t remember taking them, to be honest. I do enjoy a bit of humour in photography.

The second one is my favourite (with the camel and kangaroo chess pieces).

The knight's horse looks about a foot tall in the first shot. I like the warm colours.
I also prefer the second. There's something about it that reminds me of those wonderfully enchanting time lapse animations from the past.

I'd be tempted to crop that second one, Rob. Remove the shelf from the bottom and the dark bit of wall on the left leaving only the lighter wall with the shadows.
