Fuji X-T1 and 10-24mm Lens - 10.5mm f/22

I left the keystone effect on the buildings as I like the way they crowd in on the hurrying figure

Outstanding image in my book. There is something haunting about this and I can't explain it. Silence is part of it. Love the little opening on the structure on each side. I presume that is a little aqua duct down the middle. I like the man being in the image but it would work superbly without him too.

Thanks Tom

Here's the location set-up

BRILLIANT............

Thanks everyone - this one has been on my TPE to-do list for the last two years

Finally got to it today, playing with the Fuji super wide (sorry Beth!)

It's a stunning location - quite surreal in fact, looking west to the ocean

The sun came up straight down the middle today - so it was worth the early trip out in the dark

I must go back and try a sunset/twilight shot at the other end of the day - might try tonight as TPE says it sets right down the middle at 6:53pm

Not sure the cleaning staff were too please with me putting my tripod in their water feature - but I was more concerned I'd be testing the weatherproofing on the X-T1 if I messed up!

Talking of DSGs - there's one in this shot taking a bath! :D

I used the WiFi link to trigger the camera on the last shot, so that I could get my shadow out of the shot.

Outstanding, Chris - love both the B&W for the emphasis on shape/geometry as well as the figure and the last color one for the light clipping the tops of the monoliths (or whatever they are called). Great location, too.
