DKL adapter.

The GKLto Nikon F adapter finally arrived amnd to my great disappointment didn't want to accept my Color Skopar X for some reason. It came with a tiny screwdriver so I wondered if it needed some adjustment and unscrewed the four obvious screws to see what happened. What happened was there was a ping and something flew across the room. It turned out it must have been what provided click stop holds to the aperture ring so it is now necessary to hold the setting with one finger, the aperture being adjusted from the camera and sprung to close to f22 off the camera, i.e with the adapter also. I couldn't find it but the silver lining was that I did find a tiny spring from the shutter of an Ising Pucky I was restoring so that is back on the agenda now.

The trouble with the adapter was far too tight restraints on the bayonet which, once eased, allowed the lens to click into place. Even if I found the errant component, it must be so small that I doubt I would manage to get it back in place.

I have attached a few shots of and by the adapted lens mounted on my trusty Sony with its Zhongyu Lens Turbo full frame adapter. They are screen shots, original and details, the details unadjusted, and phone shots of the combination and the adapter and lens. I can't see any chromatic aberration problems, even at f2.8 and sharpness is pretty good.
