Domestic Studies

I understand that,...but I don't think it would have occurred to me to photograph it. Beautiful set. I love the simplicity of the string.

I have to agree with Brian; not something I would have considered as a subject. The string particularly makes a strangely interesting image.

Good! I sincerely hope they inspire you to do some photography today, Pete, as I do miss your postings here. Your images often come to mind when I have a camera to hand. And it's often the most simple things you've done, rooms and objects within, on the border of memory.

Whenever I can't get out of the house, I begin to look for inspiration in the home. If not for the subject, I find it keeps my technique going.

Love the set, also particularly interested that you have several of the Sigmas. I'm interested in digital cameras with fixed focal lengths at the moment and those Quattro models look fantastic and the Foveon adds a great deal of technological interest.

Hi Matt. Good to hear from a newcomer to the site. The Quattros are quite unique, wonderful for some shots, terrible for others. The most unique is the Zero - if you only get one, that should be it.

Is that the 14mm equivalent?
