Using the 'downonthebellypod' allows me to get to water level, it is a dodgy piece of kit susceptible to sudden collapse and possible equipment failure but tonight the system worked well and resulted in something I really like.. got to be one of my favourite shots from one of my favourite locations..

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous. Like Chris, I love the way the sun burns through the bough adn I really like the darker tones in the rest of the image.

I also have one of those 'downonthebellypods' but mine is the slightly larger model. I keep meaning to get the smaller version so I can get lower angles but you know what it's like when you busy (and lazy!)...

Oh my! Now this is beyond any praise I could find. I sometimes use one of those pods, but I find the legs a tad too collapsible when you try and right the equipment again. I could do with a newer model

On the subject of downonthebellypods, I might add that I find the ones filled with jelly to be remarkably proficient at self-levelling,...you may find one under the heading of downonthejellybellypods. (See avatar.)
