DOWN HARBOUR

Love the second, especially, Julian, then the square shot. I notice three of them have 'frames with names' - are you planning to sell them? I imagine they would both sell. Beautiful.

Rob the only reason I put a frame on and title is the process. I oddly quite enjoy the repetition as the elements are added. My autistic leanings maybe. Sell a photo? Who to? I don't want them so why would anyone else :D.

Right enough. Who on Earth would want a beautifully-taken photo by a photographer with sensitivity and grace? Don't undersell yourself, Julian. I've seen lots of photos online and on sale where the photographer clearly has a £5,000 camera with lenses to match, and has pointed it at the most obvious thing, and pressed click. Yes, people buy them. But there are other people looking for something more interpreted, and that's what you do well. I could easily see your images selling.

Rob I appreciate all you say, thanks and know you are correct. Not something I have ever considered or really equipped to take on in a promising way.

I also love the second. The positive reaction is great to see.

I also like the second. That is the harbour master, whom I spoke with for the first time after the shot. I great guy he seemed.

Thanks Pete

I do like the rope lead-in on that last shot - interesting angle too - very nice

They all show your love of fishing ... emotional investment really do make fine portraits :)

I don't want them :D.

Super attitude .... else what we do can suck us in > our spirit feeling fettered > depression.
Flippancy is a super way to stay free.

Likewise with selling ... unless need to sell to feed the family or self ... one of the quickest way to crush creative spirit is to do it for material gain.

Keep on doing it for the emotional Julian :)
