Dubai Rubbish

A lonely persons chair by the looks of it ... Maybe it was their poor taste in interior decor?!

Makes for a nice shot though!

I may revisit this at some point and try to sort out the red, it is a bit OTT even though I have toned it down. The colour is not clipped but it is just too violent but I suspect it has something to do with the sensor. My Nikon D7000 had an issue with reds and in some cases it was not possible to rescue the image, I think something similar has happened here. It was a vey red sofa though. Pete, do you mean add a slight yellow tint to the sofa to tame the red? Cyan is opposite to red on the HSV colour wheel, I was guessing that I should use a cyan tint.

I continue to be fascinated by use of familiar words...that I thought were unique to my New England dialect.

I really like this...Paul. It's about about the content...the context...the composition..the conclusion...IMHO...as I spent my entire professional life trying to explain to all the highly educated and dedicated engineers that worked for me. ;)

Thank you, Beth, Glenn, Julian. I have printed this but on a test sheet from a sample pack of so-called "Fine Art" Papers. Actually the paper muted the colours slightly and it didn't look too bad, not the clipped block of red I was expecting. Not 100% but not bad.
