Critique Welcomed Burj Al Arab

This is the 5-Star, Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai, UAE. I took this picture in the early morning and the sun was blazing in from the right of the frame. The original picture had a strong golden color cast, which was OK. But I decided to desaturate the building and the sky to see if I could get a more pleasing effect. This is the result, for what it's worth.

Desaturating looks to have given it a rather nice graphical feel which suits it well I think. The extra space you have allowed helps with the scale too I think.
