Dusted off the Lumix

My Digital gear doesn't get as much use as my film gear - but I decided to head down to the local riparian preserve with the new-to-me D800 and since the longest lens I have for it is a 200, I also took my Lumix G9 w/ Panasonic-Leica 100-400 (200-800 equiv.) It is quite the nice lens, as it is quite compact and light for it's range.

I shot with mine for quite a while until I upgraded to the OM-1 body and the 300/4 Pro for bird photography. It is a nice size lens but to be honest, since switching camera bodies and getting the 300/4, I have never shot birds with the gx9 and the PL 100-400 again although some of my early shots with the OM-1 still used the 100-400.
