Eclipse 2015

Straight from the highly sophisticated sun observatory in Babelsberg comes a sequence of images of the solar eclipse on 20 March 2015. Being a true professional I was obviously highly prepared for this event and had an old envelope, a bit of tin foil, a dressmaking pin and a Sony compact camera to hand to record this momentous event. The path of the sun was tracked from the edge of the sofa onto the top of a camera bag and then the floor by the window using the patented Askew mount. All images were there overlaid with precision accuracy in Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 after initial processing in Lightroom. I was aided by my two trusty assistants during the event!

Aha my second Eclipse today, Ian posted one earlier. For some reason I did not get exited about this one, but I see you did Pete.
Good to see Teddy giving a helping hand.

I am so jealous, prepared my pin hole camera yesterday and all we had was a slightly darker sky and clouds :(
