I first spotted this in the window of a closed bookshop in Athens and ordered it as soon as I got back. A very nice volume of his work and a super quality publication. One for the shelf!

I have that one also Pete. In fact I have most of his books in storage. I have been fascinated by his work forever. A few years ago there was a wonderful exhibit at the MFA of his Mexican Prints and last year of the Limited Editions Club of New York commissioned work to illustrate its deluxe edition of Walt Whitman’s epic poem Leaves of Grass. I spent a bit of time staring at his work during those times.

I really like the vegetable photographs and how you could easily move onto some of the nudes as both types have the same sensuous look to them.

Rob, if you haven't looked at the veg photographs before you may like to, your veg still life is quite sensuous too but not strictly in the same way.
