Yet again we stumbled across these ruins/relics/bombed out and shot at Hotels about eight miles from Dubrovnik (Mlini), hidden away.....

President Titu stayed in this actual Hotel the locals informed us.

Amazing!
I went to Croatia (Yugoslavia at the time) before the conflict when I was around 7ish. From memory it was the most beautiful place I'd ever seen. Then came the bombs and bullets. I was fortunate enough to see a war free country.
We stopped on a camp site north of Dubrovnik, called Split. Unforgettable memories.
