end of ramp

an early morning sunrise after a night of some pretty nasty storms. this was 10 days ago and we've still got crews out cleaning up at work. the sign is referring to a boat ramp located to the left of the pier, not the pier itself. you can barely make out the concrete boat ramp in the water.

x-pro 1, voigtlander 12mm and lots of coffee

Lovely colors in this image and also nice composition. The wide-angle effect is really appealing to me. (What does 12mm on the X-Pro-1 equal on full frame or 35mm? About 20mm or so maybe?)

thanks. it would be 12mm on a 35mm sensor, it's more like an 18mm equivalent on the x-pro 1.

despite that friday night's storms we had a really nice weekend, though some ppl without power all weekend probably didn't think so.. the friday night before this photo was taken we had an unconfirmed tornado, over a half mile of snapped utility poles. no major storms since those two so hopefully we're done for awhile.

it keeps throwing me off too. my other camera has a 35mm sized sensor so i'm constantly doing the math to figure out what it will look like.
